Volunteering at the Worlds
Whilst the Worlds is about crowning the next World Champions, it is also about fun, friendship, and our love of paddling.
If you would like to be involved but are not planning on paddling, we would love you to become part of the team and volunteer and be a part of this amazing event.
We are seeking volunteers in the following areas;
Event Administration and Support – The Event Administration will be open from 9-12pm from Monday 27 November through to Friday 1 December. It will also be open from 3pm to 6pm Monday 27 November to Wednesday 29 November.
The role would be to assist paddlers in registering and pick up race packs, answer general inquiries and ensure competitors, particularly our international friends, have access to all the information they need to have a great time.
Event Logistics and Shuttle Services – Whilst the event will be utilising the services of Coastal Cruising for shuttles, given the number of paddlers, we will need help coordinating the paddlers as well as people that are comfortable to tow a trailer if needed or have the ability to drive a small bus. (MR or HR licence is required.)
These services will run between 12pm and 3.30pm from Monday 27 November through until Thursday 30 November.
